So yesterday I reported on the Evangelion applications that are coming out for iPhone by Appliya, and I was contacted by Ramsey Isler, who is working with Appliya on the applications and offered to give me some more information. I'm told that these are actually going to be less “games” and more “casual applications.” That means they'll lean towards the functional (calendar, timer, etc) but feature sounds, video clips, and images from Evangelion. You may have noticed that I'm using the plural here; this is because these will actually be a series of applications-- the calendar, for example, would be a separate app from the timer. The first apps have been submitted to the iPhone app store and await approval. In the meantime, we should hopefully be getting some screencaps and more details soon.But in the meantime, what do you think-- sale, or no sale? If you have (or if you could have) an iPhone, that is?
