As I've mentioned before, the story seems interesting and this episode proves me right. I like how they make this episode mysterious and slightly creepy. Overall, this is a pretty good introduction episode.The art/animation is average. Nothing fantastic. This is kind of expected since XEBEC has never been famous for beautiful art/animation styles.Opening and Ending ThemesThe music is pretty good. I love the melody that is playing when Oz opens the pocket watch. As for the Opening and Ending themes, it's decent. I prefer the Opening theme to the Ending theme. The Opening theme is called 'Parallel Hearts' and it's by FictionJunction. The Ending theme is 'Maze' and it's performed by Savage Genius.Mini SummaryOz Bezarius spends his 15th birthday playing around with his sister and his servant, Gilbert, and hiding from his maid. They head to Oz's secret spot to play and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Oz then passes Gilbert a royal clothing and asks Gilbert to wear that to attend his coming of age ceremony. Gilbert refuses to as he feels that a humble servant like himself is not worthy of it, however, Oz insists he must. When they are about to head back, Oz and Gilbert fall into unknown area. In the unknown area lies a grave with a pocket watch attached to it. As Oz takes the pocket watch from the tomb, he finds himself in an unfamiliar room with talking dolls and a scary looking woman, who tries to strangle and kill him. When the woman is about to stab him with a knife, he's brought back to reality by Gilbert. While Oz prepares for his coming of age ceremony, Gilbert is seen to be possessed by the scary woman and men in cloaks start to gather around and they appear to have an evil scheme.PicturesOz insists that Gilbert must attend his coming of age ceremony.Oz and Gilbert fall into an unknown place.The mysterious pocket watch with a beautiful melody.Oz finds himself in an unfamiliar room with a strange woman who...tries to kill him!Even after coming back to reality, the strangling mark can still be seen.Oz has a bad premonition.Gilbert is possessed by the scary woman.Men in cloaks gather around.A girl, who does not seem like an enemy, is awakened by the melody.
