After watching the first episode, I already know who my favorite character is. It's Mikage! He's funny, he's good looking and above all, he's a loyal friend! Also, Ayanami, the bad guy, looks quite cool. I don't think I can bring myself to hate him.I like the character designs. 07-Ghost is full of bishounen! As for the animation, I think some of the scenes are made too bright, other than that, I think the animation is alright.Opening and Ending ThemesThe Opening theme 'Aka no Kakera' is sung by Yuki Suzuki. The Ending theme is 'Hitomi no Kotae' sung by Noria. The two songs are alright. Nothing fantastic.Mini SummaryTeito Klein is a boy without memories and he often has weird dreams, which seem to have something to do with his past. He's currently attending a military school with his best friend, Mikage. On the night before their graduation exams, they promise each other that they will never abandon each other. The next day, during their graduation exams, they are assigned with killing a gigantic prisoner. Teito manages to defeat the prisoner but doesn’t want to kill him. The Army Chief Ayanami then enters the room and uses Zaiphon to kill the prisoner. That night, Teito has another dream of his younger self being left behind by a man.The next day, in school, Teito hears the sound of a necklace and it leads him to Ayanami. Ayanami is instructing his men to find the Eye of Mikhail. This triggers Teito's memory and he sees the man in his dream (his father) being killed by Ayanami. Overtaken by rage, Teito runs towards Ayanami and tries to kill him. However, he's stopped and locked up by Ayanami’s men.Mikage hears about it and immediately tries to help his friend. When Mikage reaches the prison, he realizes that Teito has already killed the guards and gotten himself out. Teito doesn’t want to get Mikage involved, but Mikage insists on helping him escape. When they are cornered by some guards, Teito pretends that Mikage is his hostage and pushes him towards the guards so that he can jump onto a Hawkzile below. As Teito prepares to fly off, he comes face to face with Ayanami. Ayanami immediately uses his Zaiphon to attack Teito. As a result of the attack, Teito is injured but still manages to escape. Teito’s Hawkzile flies away from the school and when he's about to crash, he bumps into three guys.PicturesMikage (left) and Teito (right) promise never to abandon each other.Graduation Exam topic - to kill the gigantic prisoner!Teito manages to defeat the prisoner but doesn't want to kill him.Ayanami steps in and kills the prisoner using Zaiphon.The sound made by this necklace leads Teito to Ayanami.Ayanami's conversation invokes Teito's painful memories.The man in his dream is his father and the person who killed him is... Ayanami.Teito tries to kill Ayanami but fails and ends up in prison.Mikage runs to the prison to help Teito escape.However, Teito has already escaped on his own.Teito: 'Mikage, we'll always be the best of friends, won't we?'Mikage: 'You bet!'Teito jumps onto the Hawkzile.Ayanami fires Zaiphon at Teito.Teito is injured but manages to escape.
