Nagi lost the race in the first episode and Hayate is about to be fired by Klaus. However, Nagi tells him that if he fires Hayate she will fire him. Klaus is apparently shocked by her "sincere" words.I love his expression here.Having no other option, Klaus decides that he will give Hayate another chance. He must go to the Butler's Tiger's Den (Shitsuji Tora no Ana). Nice pun on the famous Tora no Ana department store in Akihabara. On his way to Shitsuji Tora no Ana, a furious otaku attacks him in train. This guy tells Hayate that he has a dept of 3 million yen because he has been buying anime DVDs for company's money. He's also very angry at TV companies for broadcasting anime late in night because then he misses his series and must buy the DVDs in order to watch it. In the end, Hayate is saved by a Sister.Sister: Amen! There was also a pun on Densha Otoko. When Ayumu hears that Hayate has gone somewhere outside she becomes anxious and says that he always gets involved with some strange women. And this is her illicit imagination.Nagi says that Hayate would never look at another woman but her. Maria comes with a theory that he could "look" at some man instead. Is there a hidden fujoshi? XDNagi calls Hayate who has already been in Shitsuji Tora no Ana and before he hangs up she hears him saying "No, don't touch there." Nagi wants to check on him and asks Maria where that Shitsuji Tora no Ana is.I like it when Maria doesn't have a ponytail. When Nagi comes to Shitsuji Tora no Ana, Hayate is going to gather a party of four, including him, to go to a dungeon below the church and take Dragon Quest.Yukiji: Pettanko!Yukiji is angry at Hina because she gave her only a small amount of the money she won in the race. That's because Hina paid off most of her depts with that money. Nevertheless, Yukiji is still angry and calls Hina a demon (oni) and then she resorts to the harshest option and calls her pettanko.Hayate came to ask Hina to help him with the quest. But Hina doesn't want to and calls him "Ayasaki-kun". She had been calling him "Hayate-kun" until the last episode which denotes a sudden change in her approach to Hayate. She becomes more "distant" from him.Hayate asks her if she is still angry at him because of what he did to her in that race. She replies to him that it's not the case, but it obviously is. Hina then asks him if he likes to tease girls and if he enjoys it. Hayate tells her he did it for the sake of his Milady, and Hina's response is if he happens to be a lolicon ^^ Hayate then blows up, literally, and quickly leaves the student council room.In the end, Hayate gathers party of four, consisting of himself, Nagi, Yukiji, and Wataru.
