A man runs down the snow-covered streets, chased by a few other angry men. The man had stolen an important ring from his partners after a group theft. Crossing over a bridge, he came across a jackster who chopped off his fingers and took away the ring, dumping him into the icy river below. The rest of the gang saw the incident and decided to run for their lives (good choice I'd say).Meanwhile, Ciel and Sebastian are attending the Frost Fair to monitor the situation in case anything goes wrong and troubles the Queen. At the same time, Lizzy and her maid were also browsing through the booths to look for a birthday present for Ciel. Ciel bumped into Aberline, one of the Scotland Yard officers, and was informed about the recent murder and the stolen ring over a cup of tea at Lau's Chinese restaurant (Ciel's eating mooncake!!! I wonder which flavour he likes best? *^^*). Apparently, the stolen ring has the same shard of gem as the Phantomhive family heirloom embedded on it.Aberline brought them to Undertaker's booth at the fair (yes I know, what the hell!?!) to get some information. After laughing at some unknown joke by Aberline, the Undertaker pointed them towards an ice sculpture in the center of the fair. The ring was around the finger of the sculpture. However, the town went ballistics when they advanced to take it off. It started a totally nonsensical and ridiculous competition (but then again, Kuroshitsuji is full of randomness) to determine the winner and keeper of the ring.The group of thieves also joined the competition, eying for the ring. However, they resorted to dirty tricks when they realized they were not going to win against Sebastian (open your eyes men! You're mere humans!!! Muahahahaha XD). The explosives used in their attacks caused the ice surface to shatter and the sculpture fell into the river Thames along with the ring. Surprisingly, Ciel did not order Sebastian to retrieve the ring. I wonder why?We proceed to another scene of Lizzy kicking up a storm. She was told by her father that the Noah's Arc toy she bought for Ciel was not an original as what she thought. The arc smashed opened and tada~ You see the ring! The you see a scene with the jackster commenting on how the ring will find its master again. Well, we're back to more cases. I have a bad feeling Lizzy's gonna get into deep shit in the next episode.
