I got an announcement in my inbox from Bandai announcing a street date change for Gundam 00's first releases, the Season 1 Part 1 special edition and regular releases. Apparently due to a manufacturing error the dates have been pushed back from June 16th to July 21st-- ouch, that means they'll probably miss Expo.That said, I'm curious: how many of you watched at least the first season? How many of you are planning to buy the first DVD set, which includes the first nine episodes? And how many of you will be buying the special edition of the first release, which includes the first volumes of both the direct Gundam 00 manga adaptation and the Gundam 00F side story series?I'm looking at the Special Edition, largely because I'm interested in the side story. Besides, at $49.98, if you figure the manga volumes are worth $20, that leaves just the episodes at $29.98, but the regular edition is $39.98. So if you want the manga too, I think the Special Edition is a pretty good deal.
