Those of you who have been following me since pre-Vice launch may remember the interview I got to conduct with Takashi “Bob” Okazaki, the original creator of the Afro Samurai concept and its subsequent manga, at last year's San Diego Comic Con. He was a very chill guy, and I've been hoping to get another opportunity to sit down with him.And it looks like that opportunity is nigh! Okazaki is now an official guest for Anime Expo, which makes me wonder if he's got something up his sleeve-- new Afro Samurai news, or maybe an entirely new project? When I interviewed him, he hadn't yet decided on what to do next.We also talked about his trip to Germany immediately after San Diego Comic Con, and he said he would be looking into the differences between German fans and American ones. Now I can finally follow up on it!Is there anything else I should ask Okazaki, assuming I get the opportunity?
