I was impressed by Natsume Yuujinchou and planning to watch the second season. The story is 'pretty normal' with an average protagonist. I mean... his character is just like a normal person (oh,.. can somebody define what 'normal' is?). He wasn't a superhero like any mainstream shounen-manga. The drama was strong and ran smoothly. If I must find a comparison, it was a combination of Honey and Clover (minus the comedy part) and Mushishi. Natsume, Mayama, and Ginko had same type of personality: calm, focus, and kind. Of course, in this case, only Mayama was the very normal person because he totally had no supernatural power within. But from the genre, Natsume and Mushishi was the closest. So, speaking about the anime itself, I peeked at deviantArt, finding artists who devoted themselves drawing Natsume Yuujinchou's characters. It was always fun and interesting to see fans drawing with their interpretations. Sadly, not too much artists put their attention to Natsume Yuujinchou. In the end, their work didn't too much getting attention. So please, visit the artists' page so you can see their profiles and other works."Zoku Natsume Yuujin chou- snow" by apchi(digital) "Spring is here..." by Kimikosan(digital)"Natsume" by Verity-Niwa(watercolor & pencil)"natsume yuujin-chou" by kessi-san(digital)"Nyanko-sensei" by TokidokiAi(pencil)Notes:~ all pictures are directly relied to the original pages.
