I played with the VLC Player here (say “Baka” or I’ll smack you). First, I muted the audio and revved up the video speed to 150%. Second, I tweaked the video settings to create a threshold (like the last 2 images above), yet I still understand the episode, as is:
They are inside a Specialty (not Maid since we got butlers) Cafe in a rainy day tasting cakes.
Mayoi and the other girl thinks about chocolates and so they made one as gifts to Io.

P.S. For those of you who say that this show is a bit slow for you, I can understand where you’re coming from — even though I normally can watch a ton of slice-of-life without flinching, if I try to watch this with other people it feels like I’m waiting for an eternity for each joke to hit its climax. That said, I still think this show is going to be fun to watch privately and hope that you give it another chance.
