Orihime tries to revive Ichigo while Ishida attempts to hold off Ulquiorra.Summary:After blasting Ichigo through the chest with a cero, Ulquiorra tosses Ichigo's lifeless body off the pillar to the level where Orihime and Ishida is standing. Orihime tries to run to Ichigo, but Ulquiorra steps in the way and states that Orihime won't be able to heal Ichigo. Ishida jumps into action and draws off Ulquiorra, and Orihime put Ichigo under her healing field while frantically wondering what to do. Ulquiorra quickly defeats Ishida and walks towards Orihime and Ichigo. Orihime screams for Ichigo to help for, and strangely Ichigo begins to stir and his hair starts growing longer.Looks like someone needs a haircut.~~~~~~~~~~~~~After Ichigo got "killed" in the last chapter, I was thinking that Orihime might snap and take over the fight for a little while, but it looks like Kubo has decided to go with the direct route and give Ichigo his miraculous power-up right away. Despite the mentioning of Super-Saiyan by many other anime/manga fans, the hair-growing thing kind of reminds of me of the part from YuYu Hakusho where Yusuke got in touch with his demon heritage (and trashed Shinobu afterwards). Hopefully the fight between Ichigo and Ulquiorra won't suddenly turn one-sided in the good guy's favor like the previous example. I'm guessing the narrative will move back to the smaller fights though since there's nobody else of real concern left in Hueco Mundo if Ulquiorra is defeated. As for the hair-growing, the only guess I have is that Ichigo's hollow pal is taking over since he doesn't want to die with Ichigo, but it could be something even more out of the blue than that.
