The Caribou Pirates attack the Straw Hats underwater, but things don't go quite as planned.
Looks like your crew chickened out and ditched your sorry behind.
Summary:
As the Straw Hats journey deeper into the sea, they are unaware that the Caribou Pirates are right on their tail. When the Straw Hats notice their pursuers, the Caribou pirate ship has already pulled along side and Caribou makes his way through the bubble onto the Thousand Sunny. However, before the rest of the Caribou Pirates can board, Nami recognizes that the sea cow pulling the Caribou ship is Mohmoo from the Arlong Pirates. In return, Mohmoo recognize Luffy and Sanji as the guys who beat it up, and this cause the sea cow to quickly accelerate away dragging the rest of the Caribou Pirates with it. Realizing that he is outmatched, Caribou decides to play dumb and allows the Straw Hats to tie him up, and afterwards the Straw Hats largely ignore him.
Luffy and the rest of the crew start asking Nami and Franky about where the ship is headed. Nami states that they are headed for the deep sea currents and goes on an in depth explanation about how ocean currents work, but Luffy and most of the guys don't really understand. After Nami finishes her talk, the Thousand Sunny comes upon a huge downward plume. The Straw Hats take the route, but they quickly discover that the path is occupied by a huge kraken which has been eating ships that were trying to take the path. Caribou screams for the Straw Hats to turn back, but Luffy wants to try and tame the gigantic octopus.

Lol Caribou's entrance certainly didn't quite go the way I expected it to. I thought Caribou and his crew would just be a small challenge for the Straw Hats who would sweep them aside. Instead, Caribou has turned from a homicidal, bloodthirsty crazy pirate to a joke character after being left alone in enemy territory. However, despite being a coward at heart, Caribou at least isn't stupid and didn't try to fight the Straw Hats on his own. He might become a small threat later, but it's hard to take him seriously now after what happened this week.
Caribou boarding the Thousand Sunny was kind of funny, but this week's chapter was so-so overall since it contained a long and somewhat dry explanation about how ocean currents work. The info might become important a few chapters later but it isn't exactly exciting to read. With the kraken in the way, the next chapter will probably be about Luffy trying to tame the beast with his haki skills. Luffy can't exactly beat the kraken up since his powers are useless in the water, so it'll probably just be a stare down with haki.
