Oreimo S2 Ep 13 – Semifinal Impressions Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai ends! The second season of Oreimo was somehow a lackluster of the first one. Uninspired and it lacked the magic of the first season. We missed the otaku moments and instead, They gave us drama focused on the relationships between Kyosuke and the rest of his “harem” if you can call it that way. After watching this episode, I honestly think OreImo needs a title change. Ruri fans rejoiced while watching this episode, I know because it applies to me too. XD Anyways, The Akagi scene was fine but I rather see more Ruri than a fujoshi revealing herself to a clueless otaku crowd. Thank goodness it was just a few minutes of the episode that Akagi wasted. I enjoyed the Ruri scenes a lot, she shown more of her tsundere sides and a little yanyan. The last scene was so awesome I fell in love with Ruri the second time around. The ED song was nice too!

"Are you enamored from the slight tilt of my head?" 「俺の後輩がこんなに腐ってるわけがない」 (Ore no Kouhai ga Konnani Kusatteru Wake ga Nai) "There's No Way My Junior is This Rotten" With the disappearance of Kirino, focus quickly shifts towards Kuroneko, a girl that has been slightly ignored in favor of the sister, but now receives the spotlight in the "true end." I haven't been following the fanbase too closely with which character is loved the most, but I can gather that most sided with the reserved, slightly more complex, "Gokou Ruri." Relative to her usual garb, the contrast of a normal school uniform is almost extreme, and it's hard to tell how obsessed Kuroneko is when she doesn't speak of it. Then you see the cracks as she argues fervently about her favorite anime Maschera, excels in bullet shooters (she'd be great at touhou), and soon reminds us how far from a normal school girl she really is. But who said normal was ever interesting? Divine thought I should take up an episode of Oreimo and the filmstrip layout for some further experimentation.Conclusion: I $@#%ing hate setting up the filmstrip.-Kiiragi
