I have to admit that this episode didn't make me as excited as with the previous two and perhaps I blame the very few Maya screentimes for that but still, it was a very good and entertaining episode. It seems that if it's a reality that a horrible show is difficult to make a decent, the same applies to an excellent show in making it suck =P Haha!So anywayz, I guess this is obviously a "Fumiaki character development" episode that is more focused on his taste in women and really fast love life. Yes, it was fast, but at least it wasn't sudden. Besides, the series has this annoying episode limit. I'd rather want a couple that becomes canon as soon as possible to lessen the awkwardness and non-admitting stuff instead of watching their development till the end with no conclusion if they got together or not at all =_= A lot of shoujo series tend to do that to me... I'm not watching shoujo right now so don't let me see such nerve-wrecking crap in this show T_TBack to the couple (specifically Fumiaki x Mikaze), I think it's obvious that Fumiaki had a "love at first sight" on her, hehe. As for Mikaze.... I think she was only fond of him at first... the later feels easy being around him... then eventually she's starting to have feelings for him. So if this pairing will become canon.... then the leading guy is not paired with the leading lady??? I find that pretty rare on shounen this time... they either get the leading girl, or the obvious first love interest, or none at all.(I think I'll have the same expression as Fumiaki if I were in this scene~)I like this pairing (though I admit Fumiaki x Maya would've been.... more entertaining, haha!). Yes, there's fanservice of Fumiaki being able to feel her boobs and stuff, but at least there's no unbelivable "coincidental" gropings or "boobs on faces" moments that ecchi shows do. In other words, it has perverted fanservice (and it appears that our leading guy is this show's number one pervert as of now, LOLz) but has limits... it won't go as far as those disgustingly perverted stuff. I'm cool with this.Speaking of fanservice, if Maya had been our hott tsundere fanservice, Mikaze is the big-boobed moe girl. Her manner of speech and gestures screams moe. When I was starting to get a little annoyed with her, she quickly got my admiration and respect because of two things she did: 1) She rides an expensive car during her free time and her driving skills are bloody awesome xD It shows that she could be pretty daring and wild despite her moe appearance. Contrasting sides... I love that~ 2) She cries for other people. The idea of people dying was enough to pain her and feel sad. Yeah, yeah, she's being a little too emotional about it. But I find people who try to understand and sympathize with others in that sense.... really kind and caring. I like saintly people ^^; Ehehehe...(Happy times don't last huh... *sniff*)Now with Fumiaki, how adorable that our leading guy's a mama's boy xD Well, looks like she's not around in 2012 anymore... most likely it's because of the alien invasion. It could be one of his main motivations to take up this mission. He must've missed her a lot to be tempted to call their house to be able to hear her voice. I was wishing for them to meet... wondering how they'll react. It appears to me that Fumiaki's mother and Mikaze had appreciated him for who he is and not as the famous kid called Bunmei-kun. I think the reason why he was so bewildered when Mikaze called the young him by his real name instead of his TV name is because she saw him, not the spoon bending kid. Fumiaki has mentioned that people stopped caring about him when he failed to bend a spoon (I hope they show that event! I also want a confirmation if Fumiaki could still do it or not x_x He didn't exactly say that he couldn't do it anymore. He just said he failed, but no mention of "failed for good"). I believe that if ever Mikaze were to see that, she'd still consider Fumiaki cute. She had acknowledged him, not his ability in the first place anywayz. The same goes with his mother of course, who loved Fumiaki and the kid on TV is just the same as the little boy she's cooking curry for.Fumiaki's mother and Mikaze both called the young Fumiaki by his name, and they also look alike (except for boobs size? xD)..... I won't be surprised if Fumiaki's mom's personality would be very similar to Mikaze's as well. How many times have I read stuff saying that most guys tend to pick girls that resemble their mothers... hehehe....I don't remember Maya calling him as Fumiaki though.... even if she had called him with all his aliases. Wah, the combination of the opposites is more interesting and fun for me xD(Fufufufufufufufufufuufu)Oh yeah, now about these two, I love their first interaction in the episode. Fumiaki has the guts to make fun of Maya's theories (even tease her)! Hahahaha! (He isn't capable of showing anger to her yet, but at least he did to other people! It's so enough to deviate him from the typical losers [at least the non emo type]) Funny though that Maya knows how to do his job better. I was about to go facepalm on what a useless/irresponsible time agent Fumiaki had been but... it looks like he'll be doing something next episode so... we'll see =DAbout the tengu thing, it looks like the series is not wasting even the lines of extra characters. So the line of the driver in episode one is a hint of a big arc of this series! Maya mentions the possibility that the tengus might've been aliens... and also those that Fumiaki would need to fight against. Maya's so informative... and it looks like her childhood friend is also pretty informative. Glasses girl though.... (for a megane girl, rarely do I spot those that aren't smart) seems to be very devoted/active/involved to the occult that she even goes to those waterfall training stuff xD Haha! Hopefully what happened to her will be revealed soon.(dark futures to those who only think of marrying for perverted intentions, LOLz)Another woman that surprised me is the vice principal. She's no idiot that becomes suspicious of Fumiaki's actions.... but it had also been so easy to trick her with just an obviously-random-forced-change-of-topic complimenting about her hair. The pervert got interested with her boobs that he thought of using the fortune teller on her. He didn't like what he saw LOLzToo bad Smile wasn't in this episode.... but JK!!! LOLz.... so he can find using those rods huh xD He somehow got Maya interested.... but she also finds him idiotic. Hahaha! I really hope he'll play quite a role in this "capturing a 'tengu'" arc =3 Also Smile! I want more people kicking ass in the show xD Haha!So much amusement in this episode and we even had a little tour in that area thanks to Mikaze (they're mostly temples... occult references again xD) and the deaths that have occured on the last place they've gone to might have some connection to the story. Interesting~Maya's comment about the occult for this episode: Occult is embarrassing!Haha!
