It was only less than a year since Clannad had ended and Clannad After Story began. The story starts with Nagisa’s father, Akio playing baseball and later telling Tomoya to form a team to compete with another team from another town. Tomoya recruits various people to the team to play. The game starts out well but, an accident happens which making the strongest player of the team unable to play and the they had to continue without Nagisa's Father.
