Episode: Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch Episode 1
One word: YES.
So here we are, close to a year and a half following the conclusion of the first season of Code Geass, and the second half of the story starts now. I missed you, Taniguchi Goro. You and your overly dramatic and theatrical hand gestures. I swear, Goro put Lelouch’s crazy theatrics into Code [...]

Not enough shows have been subbed to make a Seasonal first impressions post, and nothing I’ve finished recently has interested me enough to talk about it, so I guess I’ll just give my impressions on Lelouch’s much anticipated return. I imagine most of you who saw the first season have already watched it, and if [...]

Quick Summary:
Lelouch runs away from his after school Physical Education to play Chess against the Black King. His younger brother, Lolo, drives him to the Babel Tower, a casino. At the tower, he runs into Kallen, in disguise as a captured Eleven dressed as a Bunny Girl. The Black King shows up and wants to [...]

Lulu-mount
Intro says that the Order of the Black Knights was defeated, along with Zero. A poster informs the public that Zero's been executed, 'sif I'd belief that. C.C.'s still alive and well.
Lulu is shown walking down the hall when he is called out to be a familiar voice. [...]

I missed you, CLAMP arms and legs.
We kick off a second season of Code Geass this week, and this episode does a pretty good job of living up to the hype. It may have started off with a weird and unexplained timeskip, but they redeemed themselves with a healthy does of plot hints, [...]

Wow, props to you GG from coming out of no where and releasing the first episode in a matter of hours. Although, the file size is HUGE. Try working on that.
Anyway, the episode was pretty much almost an exact copy of how season 1 started. It also left me pretty confused but it’s just [...]

The most anticipated anime of the season, and I gotta say, it was awesome and confusing at the same time! You are thrown into an episode that is oddly familiar to the very first episode of the series. Where a ‘no memories’ Lelouch is gambling with adults at the casino and getting into trouble, also [...]

Zettai Karen Children
Well, here’s a surprise. I was about to condemn this series to the depths of hell, but it actually turned out quite entertaining for a light watch. It’s definitely not meant to be taken seriously, but series like that are nice once in a while as well. It really reminded me of a [...]

Woo! Code Geass R2 aired. I haven’t watched the actual episode yet but I’ve read it was decent at least. As long as Kaguya-chan is in the show I think I won’t be mourning over Euphie’s death. She was my favorite female character. ;_;
I wonder who the pink haired loli is in the opening? [...]

OP: “O2″ by ORANGE RANGE - Sunrise’s usual lazy yet well animated stuff. It hints towards a lot of the events that will be happening as always.

OP Theme: 「O2」by ORANGE RANGE - AVI version (coming soon) | PSP version (coming soon)
This is a pretty nice start for the sequel, I suppose. It's like a replay of the first series' first episode albeit in different kind of situation. In a lot of way, the storytelling method reminds me of several US TV series I can think at the back of my head. The biggest revelation here is that Lelouch has lost his memory after the incident that took place in the island. The second season also features a bunch of new characters which I assume will either support Lelouch's cause or Suzaku's. As for the OP/ED, I kind of like the ED theme but I thought the OP is a bit bland in comparison to the first series' 1st OP, Colors. The montage of images created by CLAMP for the ED is fantastic and makes me miss CLAMP's old series, X and Clover. I just feel that lately I haven't seen something from them which has a lot of meaning like those two titles I mentioned before. Anyway, I have to apologize if I can't expand much of the summary and impression until one or two days later.

Surprise! I bet you totally didn’t expect me to blog Code Geass, especially considering that awful parody video I made which should best be left to rot in the depths of hell, my MySpace account and the fact that I used to own code-geass.com.
That said, the fact that I’m a huge Kallen fanboy has absolutely [...]

I just watched it live on Japanese TV. Spoilers after the cut. Note that I don’t know Japanese.
I like how they pulled the amnesia thing, which had been speculated, but got rid of it before the episode had even ended, in a nice parallel to the first episode of season 1. Lelouch is back, and [...]

Before you feel deceived, this is not about R2.
So, I started this blog on December 17, 2007. Of course, by that time, I had been long done with Code Geass. As such, I have *no* Code Geass related material on my blog. This post is an attempt to rectify that problem. 'Problem?', you [...]

Short post today. Almost all successful anime has their own line of merchandise like dakimakura, figures, etc etc. But how about this one? Code Geass curry! Not pizza! But curry! Now I wonder how does it taste like.
