Ayase- “Quiet! This takes total concentration…Oh damn my nose itches…” Another week, another episode of Shu getting bullied like there’s no tomorrow. Even when you can pull giant swords out of people’s chest, you’re still a loser if you ain’t got that bishie swag. The world of animu is a cruel, cruel place. More Guilty [...]

I enjoy Guilty Crown. I wasn’t quite sold on it after its first episode, but after five it has me at the point where I can kind of look forward to seeing it pop up on the torrent sites every … Continue reading →

Phase 04: Is that a skin-tight plugsuit?
This episode was great. In fact, it was awesome. The guy who arrested Shu didn’t turn out to be as bad as I thought he would be but then again I doubt he’s shown his true colors just yet. Since the previous episode I thought that Shu was going to be interrogated to hell and back and maybe even roughed up a bit but he managed to get off easy. Well, at least for now. One thing that had me curious throughout the entire ...

The main character, Shuu is probably the worst one and nearly spoiled the series. He is a real chicken and probably a useless one since he couldn’t even hold a pistol. Worse, he is also been brought down by a girl in a wheelchair. Probably the only thing good about him is his power to [...]

The best part of this show so far. When Shuu asked Inori why she said she would stay with him forever and all that: AHAHAHAHAHAHA In one stroke, my opinions of Inori and Gai are lowered even further. And boy … Continue reading →

Shu may be freed from captivity, but is he free of his captors? While he carries with him the ability to signal his position to GHQ and thus spell doom for Gai and his Funeral Parlour forces, "freedom" seems too strong a word.
Regardless, for now Shu is very much central to Gai's plans as he outlines his next aim - to steal something called "Leucocyte". With a complex and alarming number of

Ahh… delicious “I got NTR tricked” face from Shu. So it turns out Inori isn’t really that in to Shu after all. Well, no surprises there, but seeing Shu’s face when he realized that was truly quite hilarious. I sure am enjoying his delicious tears for now! Still, this week’s episode was really wheelchair moe~~ [...]

Not even a day after the attack on the GHQ, Gai sets up a new plan— the Leucocyte plan—in three day’s time, around the same time that Shu must be tested to prove himself and become a full-fledged member of Funeral Parlor, at the assistance of Funeral Parlor’s Endlave pilot Ayase Shinomiya. While Shu barely [...]

In the back of my mind, I knew better than to trust a pretty face and already suspected that Gai might be using Inori to get Shuu to join them, but I'm still kind of disappointed with the cold shoulder that Inori's giving Shuu all of a sudden. The only thing worse than a tease is a tease with a manipulative ulterior motive, regardless of whether she's simply following orders or not.

As much of a trainwreck I think this show still is, there was one shinning light this episode. The spotlight of this episode was our wheelchair friend which was pretty awesome, much better then that whore running around with no clothes on. The plot seems to have picked up slightly but I still think it is trash, it is pretty obvious where they are going with this.
What was funny was that

Although presumed to be anything but, Guilty Crown comes to face the viewers for a fifth summoning and it seems the series is actually unmistakably guilty of deceptive trickery in regards to a certain character.

I hope Gai is evil. I want Gai to be evil. I really do. Maybe not ‘mastermind behind the release of the Apocalyspe Virus’ which devastated Japan but I don’t want him to be the hero when this anime is over. I want his morals and actions to be questioned by both the characters and [...]

Episode 05 - Woah, well I have to say this episode had a rather unexpected plot twist. I just need to pray now that it isn’t a troll, because if it isn’t, Guilty Crown just got a ton more interesting. The most shocking part of the episode was at the very end, but even the [...]
