Just watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and I was impressed overall with what I have scene at episode 1. As expected from Studio SHAFT, they never go down on quality and kakkoi backgrounds. I love how they made this anime with simple pastel like animation with soft colors and complicated backgrounds and foregrounds. Hitagi Senjougahara sound-like Akemi-chan is fine too. And the OP song by ClariS is also quite good. The insert songs are also great and reminds me of Tsubasa Chronicles(the first one).

When I started to watch this first episode, I didn't remember that this anime is produced by Shaft. But only, see the first frame, I remembered it. That weird scenery... But well, that was in a dream, and didn't go to far with the weirdness in these first scenes. The following went well until when was near the end of the episode, when Madoka saves Kyubey. In that moment, Shaft's weirdness appear more than was showed before... That's which don't like me of this episode, Shaft is being Shaft... Almost all the episode is good and a little of Shaft's weirdness isn't bad, but what happens in that scene is too much. For the rest of the episode, I liked. Remembers Sakura and Nanoha, two magical girl anime that I liked. Hope that in the rest of the episodes won't be too much Shaft weird paranoias and will be a good anime.

  According to Akamatsu Ken, Negima’s mangaka, there is going to be a Negima! Masgister Negi Magi movie. This has been confirmed in his blog, stating that since he received a good number of pre-orders for the first volume of the OVA, the movie has been green lit. The official announcement should come in September, so it’s nice that he is giving us a little sneak peak. Canned Dogs tells us that the movie will continue after the Mo Hitotsu no Sekai OVAs, which covers the Journey to Magic World arc. This is great news, considering the quality of the last couple OVA series that have been based off of the manga. If the OVAs are and indication of the movie quality, then it should kick even more ass than what we are expecting. But then again there is a scientific law that states “Negima! + anime = fail”
