Not only does Japan need more babies in the up coming years, they also need money. A great way to make this money is through tourism. JNTO, the Japan National Tourism Organization decided to help attract tourists by making an Evangelion themed map for the town of Hakone. They previously had a Japanese version of this map, but now decided to create an English version as well, to attract all of us Otaku. This map, rightfully named, “Evangelion Hakone Instrumentality Map: English Version” will feature points of interest for overseas anime fans, all in glorious English. Why Hakone? According to Gainax, Tokyo-3 was actually placed in the Hakone area. Which means that you will walk on the ground that Rei walked on, and sleep on the bed Shinji never wept on, amazing! Evangelion really seems like one of those fandoms that runs wide and deep, and lets be honest... we all want to ride either Asuka or Rei. Personally, I would ride them both. Not at the same time, I'm not "that" agile, but you know, alternate based on mood. Though not when its rainy. Rain always puts me off a good ride.    The Dirty Pictures Here Well, if my address has inspired any feelings of longing, Media Magic has fortunately decide to produce a line of Evangelion bikes. Dubbed EVA00BIKE type-r and EVA02BIKE type-a, the best thing about these vehicles are that they are deceptively nerdy. Its like cosplaying as Kira to work, no one notices "unless" they get it. Nerd cred goes out to Sadamota Yoshiyuki, who designed these bikes (in addition to the characters of Rei and Asuka respectively.)  Like, I just think they look cool in general, but the price tag of 98,280 yen (US$1093) is pretty high. Granted, I'm not too up on the going rates on bikes, but I guess that's what it costs to fornicate with Rei or Asuka. Did I say fornicate? I meant "ride."  *nervous laughter*
