And to the all children, Congratulations!My question here is not whether Shinji rejects or embraces instrumentality (even though I'm of the side who believes that by embracing Individuality, one cannot embrace instrumentality, theoretically at least.)We exist for more than one purpose, as humans, we are our own individual, something we lose sight of a lot in the world today, where conformity and peer pressure is a force so powerful it breaks down our "AT fields", and we follow one singular idea or habit.Evangelion episode 26 reminds me that we are ourselves and we need to preserve that. While we may not have Angels, Lances of Longinus or Impacts of any sort, we are stil human, we are still beings with our own thoughts and opinions.There goes many a day where I see people conform to doing things they may normally reject but choose to accept based on conformity or peer pressure.For, as has been said, you are you!
