On the heels of Illusion's website's disappearance comes another mystery: the 15th episode of mahjongg anime Saki reportedly credits not Gonzo, who had been animating the anime fully up to that point, but rather Picture Magic-- the company behind Lamune and Koutetsu Sangokushi. Gonzo is instead credited as Production Assistance, a role Picture Magic has played in a number of shows.It's unclear exactly why this has happened; ANN hints that it may have to do with Gonzo's restructuring, including the fact that they have had to reduce their annual anime output by 50% (from eight project to four).I have e-mails out to a few Gonzo representatives that I know to see if we can solve this.
