Finally, confirmation for the release date of the 10th Suzumiya Haruhi light novel has been announced. Early spoilers for the  upcoming February issue of The Sneaker magazine have revealed that “The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya” will be shipping on May 25, 2011.  The tenth novel will apparently come in two volumes and will be having a simultaneous worldwide release.  The Sneaker has previously announced in the June issue that “The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya” would be published within the year, but it seems like they meant within 12 months of ...

A few days ago, following the official release of the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya in DVD and Blu-ray, the official Haruhi media website Haruhi.tv began displaying an error message on its front page (it has since returned to normal on the 21st).  What made this peculiar was that the message was upside down and the Japanese texts were reversed.  This isn’t the first time the website has pulled something cryptic, on Dec.18th, 2007 the website posted similar phony 404 error message prior to announcing details on the second season of the Haruhi ...

I have watched the LQ because I was too damn impatient and never did regret my decision. Watching the HQ now, no words can describe how fucking awesome this movie is. Call me a biased fucker or whatever, but Haruhi and Kyon can never do no wrong in my eyes. No flaws, only pure bliss.Having said that, after countless of rewatched, I found Kyon and Nagato's moments to be extremely dull.p/s: Just wanna say kudos to Sugita for a job well done.
