<lj-embed id="12"/>This above is the first trailer of the upcoming Haruhi OAV (or OVA, you decide) entitled "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" or 涼宮ハルヒの消失. The above trailer features Yuki, or how she became, with Haruhi disappeared. Oh yes, you're looking at a Yuki with emotions and not her usual cold self. <lj-embed id="10"/>This is the *second* trailer of the show. I can see Asakura Ryoko and how Kyon reacted when he saw her. On the other hand, Mikuru looks like she doesn't know Kyon and Yuki was shocked to see him...As I am writing this, the second trailer is also available on Haruhi's official website (haruhi.tv), embedded in front of a fake 404 page. (I hate Orbit Downloader for redirecting the page, stupidly. I had to disable it.)***The OAV is based on the novel of the same name by Tanigawa Nagaru. In fact, it's the fourth novel in a series. For some reason unknown to me, Wikipedia lists the novel as "The Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya", although I would definitely prefer "Disappearance".In this novel, the story takes place in between December 17 and December 24 a month after the cultural festival. As I am writing this it's December 19 so it definitely gives me the creeps when I watched the trailers. The BGM that plays in the trailer gives a soothing yet spooky kind of feeling and it leaves a strong impression in me. I've personally read the novel's translations over at Baka-Tsuki so I'll know what's going to happen, but I'll still wait for and watch the OAV as I know it'll be an entirely different experience.
