Seriously, this was such an excellent episode. Thank goodness Chaos turned out differently from the subtle love rival. In fact, he wasn’t subtle at all during this episode. Apart from that, there was lots of more goodness, both from Sakura, Syaoran, Fay and Kurogane, as this episode delves a bit into the past of each [...]

Episode: Tsubasa Chronicle Episode 49
Well, so much for looking at an advertistment with Sakura's feathers on it. Yes indeed, it was the so-called "Dragonfly Race" which was being held in the Piffle World, which Syaoran and Sakura, together with Fai (or Fye, whichever you choose) and Kurogane who had been accompanying them from the start arrived in. They had joined the race, in order to obtain Sakura's feather. So, as for the fact where did they actually abducted their mobiles which they had been using in the Dragonfly Race, I have no idea. I was just wondering, an ordinary car or automobile would be really costly. However, Syaoran and the others somehow got their hands on the "Dragonfly"s. Indeed, like the title of Episode 27 said, the Dragonfly Race was also "The Dangerous Race", because one would be riding a machine which could actually fly. Meanwhile one need to be at least 18 to learn how to drive and sit for an exam to obtain a driving licence here in Malaysia (it should be the same for other countries), Syaoran and the others are actually able to ride one instantly. Wow, I thought. Oh and yeah, heavy images (around 30) and spoilers under the cut."I'm fine, Mokona" ^_^Syaoran and Sakura talking to Yuko. Yuko expects something in return for White Day..."You're going too fast, Princess!""No matter where they are from, a princess won't listen to what she's told."Since it was dangerous, Syaoran had persuaded Sakura not to enter the race, but Sakura still wanted to contest to have a chance to win her own feather by herself. I still remember her unconcious state in the first few episodes of the series, and now, she has appears to be her strong self again. Kurogane recalls the princess, Tomoyo-hime (what happened to all the kings?) which he had served in his world, and said that, "No matter where they are from, a princess won't listen to what she's told.""Uh...?""Uh...?!"Here in this world, for the first time, Tomoyo played an important role, well at least, in the Piffle World. In here, Kurogane and the others stumbled upon Tomoyo and her bodyguards. Meanwhile Kurogane tried to approach the person who was the Tomoyo he thought and Tomoyo's bodyguards blocked him from doing so, Tomoyo went ahead to Sakura and said that Sakura was her heroine (I wonder did tofusensei got that wrong or not). Tomoyo then introduced herself as the President of the "Piffle Princess Company", and that the company was the main sponsor of the race. She happily announced that she is going to recording the entire race, and that is why she needed a heroine to enter the race for her. So... Sakura's in the race, being sponsored. That should explain how did she and the others get their free 'Dragonfly's. There are many of them that Syaoran and the others knew from the other worlds they've been to."Just looking at them brings back memories..." ^_^So... on the day of the race, Syaoran and the others saw that there were quite a number of participants contesting for the feather, and this included a few others they knew from the other worlds they had been to. Only Ryuuoh out of all the others played an important role in this world though. Tomoyo, as the flag waiver, waived off, and the heat race started. Kurogane maintained his position as number one, with Fai following closely behind. In the end, Kurogane got the first place, and Fai, second. "Something got sucked into the engine..."Syaoran is alive!Well... the race wasn't that smooth-going, as there was indeed something going on. While Kurogane and Fai had ended the race, Syaoran and Sakura hadn't. Syaoran had problems with his Dragonfly, because something got sucked into the engine of his Dragonfly. Sakura started to accelerate and managed to get the 11th place, and qualifed, although she had a rough landing. Meanwhile, Syaoran had to compete for the final place to qualify for the final race. Although so, Syaoran did what he had to do to qualify by speeding, ignoring the fact that he might die if he speeds in that reckless speed. He crossed the finishing line, but his Dragonfly crashed and caught fire. Luckily, he was alive to be able to celebrate his success with the other qualifiers. "So... one of them have been interfering with the race?"Tomoyo and her officers found out that someone had been interfering with the race, and they had suspected that one of the people who qualified did it. "Let's fix them!""Where are we going?"Tomoyo had a gathering meal to celebrate and cheer for the qualifiers, and in here, Syaoran got to directly speak to Ryuuoh. Meanwhile the other qualified racers have their gathering meal, Syaoran and the others are called upon to a briefing by Tomoyo about the sabotage done. "If they were released from the ground, then it would be impossible for they to reach the racers' altitude.""I'm going to make a costume for you, my heroine, for the race!"While no actual conclusion were made on what happened during the race, Tomoyo again said that she would be making a suit for her heroine for the next race. Look at how Sakura look, cool! Again, Sakura got the pole position in the lotery session earlier! Looks like she was really blessed. Syaoran visiting Ryuuoh's workshop.Tomoyo looking at the racers.Fai successfully grabbed a badge.The final race requires the racers to collect three badges in order to complete the race, and the badges cannot be obtained easilly as there are obstacles awaiting the racers. Although it was easy to obtain the first badge, but Sakura almost lost her chance to grab one. Syaoran and Sakura reaching the tube..The second badge was at the end of a long tube, in where the racers must go through the tube. Sakura was also the last one to obtain a badge successfully, before Syaoran. Syaoran collided into Ryuuoh!"You prevented me from dying! You're a good guy after all! ^_^ However, Syaoran was unlucky. To be exact, it wasn't he who was the unlucky one, but Ryuuoh. An explosion occured, and Ryuuoh's Dragonfly was hit. Syaoran has to collide into Ryuuoh in order to avoid Ryuuoh from dying. This means that Syaoran and Ryuuoh were forced to retire.Geysers randomly shooting water...The final obstacles are geysers, which shoots water out randomly without warning. This is where Sakura were able to sense the timing of the water being shoot out, and therefore she was able to catch up to second place just behind Kurogane. Tomoyo looking at Kurogane who was forced to retire..Again, an explosion occured, and this time, to avoid the rocks from hitting Sakura's Wing Egg, Kurogane pushed Wing Egg away and ended up going down. "I'm the one who is messing with the race...""Who would have expected that the Piffle Company to be behind all this?"Wing Egg was aimed at.Meanwhile Wing Egg continued to race, Syaoran and Ryuuoh found out a shocking fact... that it was actually the Piffle Princess Company which was interfering the race. Also, Tomoyo confessed that she was the culprit in all the interference after countless questionings by Kurogane who demanded a good explanation. However, Tomoyo also said that it was because she wanted Sakura to win."Congratulations, Sakura!Sakura's feather being put into her body.Indeed... Sakura won. It was a glorious goal, If I am allowed to say this. Well... although it was a arranged match, but I guess Sakura was still the rightful owner of her own feather, right? Tomoyo gave away the award in a ceremony. Here comes Dr. Kyle.However, the real villian finally appeared. He appeared to be Dr. Kyle from Jade World. Although he didn't made a big impact in this world, but he will sure to be a stronger villian in the future, having the ability to change world whenever he likes. He escaped by teleporting to other world.Princess Tomoyo with Tomoyo DaidoujiMeanwhile, Tomoyo told everyone about her dream, where she met with Princess Tomoyo. It was also Princess Tomoyo who has told Tomoyo to hand over the feather to Sakura, who was the rightful owner. Kurogane grunted.Syaoran and the others left the Piffle World for another world..So, after the race, Syaoran and the others left the Piffle World with Tomoyo together with Ryuuoh with the other CLAMP detectives cameos sending them off. That's the end for the Piffle World story arc. Glad that it only took 3 episodes. :D

Ugh… this is annoying. Almost all of the good shows I’m watching come out on Friday and Saturday, while the other days are really quiet. So, yeah. Expect me to be really prolific on some days while rather absent on other days. ^^;
Anyway, I could be wrong, but I think we’ve struck another manga-arc. And [...]

I can’t believe how awesome Sakura was during this episode! Even though this was another filler, it does an amazingly well job of fleshing out Sakura’s character. Seriously, this was an excellent episode. ^_^
The case is like this: Syaoran and the others land in a large, gloomy city. The feather is being sold in a [...]

Hehe, I had to laugh when I saw the fansubbers agitation about the insert songs. They’re a great addition, but I can imagine that it must be a hell to typeset each and single one of them. ^^
About the episode, it’s strange. The way it started suggested a very basic plot about a bad guy [...]

Chung Yang… boy that’s a time ago. I like that this anime actually goes back to worlds it already visited. It’s interesting to see what happened afterwards. Okay, it would have been better if the time span was a bit bigger, but I’m already happy with this.
I don’t get what people have against the [...]

The ED of the first season of Tsubasa Chronicles, sung by the lovely Maaya Sakamoto, who has voiced quite a few anime/game characters in her career. A few notable ones include:

That was SO incredibly adorable! Okay, it was a filler. But I don’t care! Mokona was awesome in this episode! I can’t help not to fanboy over it.
Especially when Kero also made an appearance. The story’s like this: we’ve got this country, where a feather has appeared. A butterfly then used the feather’s power to [...]

The creators were SO incredibly mean at the end of the episode. If that doesn’t classify as playing with plot-twists, then I don’t know anymore. XD
Anyway, and so, the Lacourt-arc ends. It’s been a great arc, which gave us some god insights about Kurogane and Sakura’s past. Syaoran and Fay, on the other hand, only [...]

Muaha! Another great episode! And it’s actually dedicated to the main story. The Clow Country we saw at the end of the previous episode seems to be the product of Sakura’s powers, meeting the book of memories. This transferred our protagonists to the Clow Country which Sakura remembers. There are a lot of holes in [...]

Ooh, I’ve been waiting for this. Finally, after a month of absence, Tsubasa Chronicle returns. After the previous episode, which was so incredibly awesome, the anime continues in the same world we left off. It seems that the book from the previous episode was a copy of the book of memories. 10/06/2006 09:21 AM UTCAnnouncement: I'm picking up Digimon Savers and Tsubasa Chronicle. >>
This is the second ending theme of Digimon Savers. Digimon Savers is the fifth season of the Digimon Series, behind Digimon Frontier, which was regarded as a failure as it didn't got much respond in the United States compared to the two previous seasons, Digimon Adventure and Digimon 02. Here in Malaysia where I stay, they have already showed three seasons on channel NTV7, although I was one of the unlucky people to not to have the channel at the period when Digimon Tamers were showing, as I live in Sabah. I, personally, am a fan of Digimon for quite a long time now and I also have a Digimon fansite of my own, Digimon Destiny. From what I have heard, Digimon Savers isn't as entertaining as it's predecessing seasons. It's OP and first ED sucked, honestly, as I have personally downloaded two episodes of Savers as WTW decided to do the subs. Due to internal problem, WTW dropped subbing Savers at episode 16 and it was continued on by dhimitsu. I might as well continue downloading and watch the show as I'll be needing infos for my website.Talking about Digimon.. - here's some Digimon CGs. They're very nice: http://kurot.livejournal.com/12752.html- here's some Digimon single and albums. They're quite nice too: http://meimi.livejournal.com/324458.html(*if there is any problem with Megaupload, go here)As for Tsubasa Chronicle... I personally am quite relucant to download this anime anymore, but since hughwong wanted to watch the anime, and yeah, sure, why not, I thought. Although I was personally setted back by non-professional fansubbers. In this case, #YuGiOh was the only group left subbing Tsubasa. I still remember how many groups there were doing the subs for the first episode... Shinsen+Conclave, Solar, Anime Keep+SD, Dattebayo+Live Evil, AniKraze... ah, the list goes on. =\Which means that.. I'll be watching these few series:- Tsubasa Chronicle- Digimon Savers- xxxHolic- Shuffle- .hack//SIGN - Coyote Ragtime Show Perhaps. This anime has been licensed recently. wtf. And believe me, it will never reach Malaysia, or even if it does, it will only touch Johor or Kuala Lumpur but never my place. =\
