Episode 3: Wolf and the Unbridged DivideBy far, this is the most dramatic Spice and Wolf episode I have ever seen.So the reason why Lawrence suddenly ran because Amarty is announcing that he is willing to pay Horo's debt and ask propose to her for marriage right after. A contract is made and a total of 1000 Toreni Silver will be paid to Lawrence.Lawrence agreed to the proposal with confidence that Horo would still choose to come and travel with him. He also thought that this is a win-win situation. He would get paid 1000 Toreni Silver while still keeping Horo.Horo wanted to come to the festival as a form of bribery so that she would still choose Lawrence. They danced to the music and enjoyed the scene from their hotel room.But as happy as Horo is, she became devastated after knowing the whereabouts of Yoitsu. A letter from Deanna came containing more information about Yoitsu that Horo read. She now knows that the village of Yoitsu was destroyed and already gone. Because of this pain, she accused Lawrence of just using her and just taking a pity on her. Lawrence attempted to console her that she is not alone but Horo is too much saddened about the truth.Lawrence had no choice but to go out and worry outside, alone.Honestly, Lawrence is now acting like Welkin (Valkyria Chronicles)......being a big jerk who cannot express what he really feels. They look so sweet together and it's the first time that I see Horo freak out like that. I do hope that the next episode would patch things up between the two of them.
