"Books are fascinating."Some things still don't make sense, but some things became clear, however, we also get dumped with more things that don't make sense. Haha! Still, it had been an excellent episode! More action and some background this time~ Oh it got me so excited~[ OWN WORLD AND RELIGION ]It's a fantasy series that is set in a place that is definitely not of our world. Interestingly, it also has its own religion and story of creation. It's somewhat similar to the story of Genesis, and they have three gods: one that oversees the future, another of the present, and another one of the past. The name of the God of the past is Bantorra. He was also the one who created the Library. And since this series is about books of people who lived in the past, now we see where the hell the word "Bantorra" came from. But hhhmm . . . it says Book of Bantorra. Does that mean the god actually has a book? But that also means he's dead . . . or perhaps it's his special book or something . . . . Errr . . . I'm thinking too much on the title. Whatever.[ ANTAGONISTS ]We get some more info on Shindeki Kyoudan. The translation of it is pretty long to remember though: The Church of Drowning in God's Grace. Anyway, it appears to be some heretic religion that firmly believes that people who become ultimate books that satisfy their desire (no matter if it's sex, drugs, etc. , pretty immoral to the religions of our world) to the fullest. And to their belief as well, such people are the only ones that go to heaven. There appears to be some hierarchy, and one of the higher-ups is a True Man, and Cigal says that their kind is the upper echelon of the church that will embody true happiness. Those that are called Mock Men are doing the dirty work (so they are aware that what they're doing is supposedly bad since it's well . . .dirty work). While the Meats are some disposable tools that are used to fulfill what the True Man aims. The True Man seems to protect the Meats from time to time since Cigal had saved Colio. His balde attack had been bloody awesome~ And that evil laugh in the background after he had killed an Amred Librarian!!! WICKED!!!! It's so freaky I love it~ Great sound effects~Meats seem to be brainwashed people, with little or no memory of the past. The blonde that helped out Colio seemed to be one of the unique Meats, since he's smarter . . . and smart enough to go against a True Man. Sadly, his sacrifice had been in vain because he failed to kill Cigal.Colio seems to be one of the unique types as well (oh how could he be a main character if he isn't. Hehe). As if he's going to be killed by Hamyuts, but still, damn cliffhanger. I wanna know how he was able to survive! We are already spoiled because of the 3rd episode preview since it shows Colio and Hamyuts interacting![ PROTAGONISTS ]Hamyuts is too eeeeeeeeeeeevil for a protaginist~ She rejected Volken's request to accompany her just because he's a softie. For a higher-up, she sure does a lot of action, and she did it really awesomely! She mercilessly killed all those meats even if she was in such a distance. Whoa the bloodshed . . . awesome~She doesn't give a damn about her comrades either. After knowing about Luimon's death, she was like saying it's something to be expected (or maybe she even wants to imply that he deserved it) because he was weak. Cruel leader is cruel. She's crack though. YAY FOR BUNNIES!!!!!!!! Her cleavage is distracting however, but at least her breats aren't as emphasized as many other anime do.About the others, it's sad that Armed Librarians aren't allowed to shed tears (at least, not for long) for a comrade. They're like just strictly doing their job, no bonding or closeness to others or whatsoever.[ VOLKEN ]Volken is the character here who actually acts like a true soldier: fight to save and protect. He is such a kindhearted person and has his own morals; and it really must have been troublesome for him to be working under a leader whose thinking is his complete opposite. He reminds me of FMA's Roy Mustang, because he doesn't really agree to the higher-ups but is forced to do dirty work in order to gain recognition and get a higher rank and eventually become the one on the top. Haha! But Roy and Volken can't be similar on other ways aside from that (except for being cute!!!) because their personalities are really really different.Oh I freakin' love Volken~[ COLIO ]As for Colio, he's really weak and useless. All that's in his head is to kill Hamyuts, whom he doesn't even know where (and I doubt he even knows what she looks like) and if a bomb didn't work on a True Man, what more to a powerful character like Hamyuts? But well, even if he's like that, he still remains interesting. Well, yeah, it's annoying that he keeps on saying "Kill Hamyuts Meseta" over and over and over (I couldn't count anymore.) but I see him as some broken individual. He has no memory of his past, all he knows that he's a bomb, and he's not human, so all he just had to do is do what he was told and aim for nothing else. Since it's so much in his midset that he's not human, he doesn't think he deserves to be loved and doesn't even think anyone would shed tears for the likes of him. However, he sees the memories of a BEAUTIFUL (I just had to emphasize that because SHE IS) girl who died hundreds of years ago. I don't know if he's aware if books are like records of people who have died, but he had actually tried to save her!!! So even though he doesn't value himself because he's a bomb, but he values humans! In that way, that makes Colio similar to Volken. They like protecting others. I love my favorites so much~ But with Colio I'm thinking that he may be biased~[ OTP ]He's biased because HE FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT ON SHIRON!!!!!!!! OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!!!!!Come on, the question "have you fallen in love at first sight" had to hint something, right? RIGHT?And I've heard that the first volume is about their love story. But she's already dead. Crazy, right? THAT MAKES IT SO INTERESTING!!!!And fufufufu~ As if I wouldn't notice a super little interaction of my other OTP~ Damnit, I think Mirepoc agrees with Volken's values. She's as nice as he is but . . . waaaaaaaaahhh!!! SUPPORT HIM!!!!!I love this episode~ I'm excited to see the next one~
