Crunchyroll has announced another spring simulcast for this season, and it's the newest entry in the Koihime Musou franchise-- Shin Koihime Musou ~Otome Tairan~, the second "Shin" Koihime Musou (but the third "Koihime Musou"). In retrospect, I should have seen it coming, because I think they simulcast the last season of it as well. Here, have a blurb and the opening sequence: Towards the end of the Han Dynasty, the world is in the throes of chaos and disorder. In a time when strength is needed, a hero is secretly sharpening her skills as a warrior of justice: her name is Kan'u Unch?. Kan'u will put her life on the line, test her strength and power, fighting to protect those in need. I'm not entirely sure what's going on there-- if I had to hazard a guess I'd say some contracts didn't get finished in a timely fashion and we'll wind up seeing some additional simulcasts get added in a couple episodes into the season, but that's just a guess. I have some questions out to Crunchyroll to see how they're feeling about the simulcast world these days, so be sure to stay tuned here for more info!
