I kinda expected that Yui and Ritsu will be having trouble with their career plans. They're not the type of people who thinks ahead. :)Anyway, this is a good episode. KodomoYui is SO KAWAIIIII ^^; Well, aside from careers, a lot of flashbacks happen in the whole episode. Mostly, it centers on Yui and Nodoka and Ritsu and Mio childhood days. Yui and Nodoka's first meeting is nothing special. At kindergarten, Nodoka has no one to talk to and Yui was the first one who approached her. Ever since then, they become really close friends. They always have the same class at school and have spend days together during excursions and field trips. Yui have always caused Nodoka trouble at various times but according to Nodoka, every time Yui smiles innocently, she always end up forgiving her. Mio and Ritsu's childhood past was revealed. Mio, as a child is SUPER SHY and would just prefer to read books rather than to speak with her classmates. Similar to Yui, Ritsu was the first one to approach her. Mio loved (and still loves) to bug Mio because she likes the Mio's reaction every time. Similar to the present time, every time Ritsu praises Mio for whatever, her face turns red and gets really embarrassed by. One day, Mio won an award for an essay that she wrote and she is suppose to read it in front of everyone. Being a shy type girl, she cannot read it and thus, is worried about it. Ritsu helped her become confident. She invited Mio to come to her house and they practiced reading the essay. Ritsu tied her hair up that she looks like a pineapple. Ritsu shared to Mio what her father told her. To ease her nervousness, Ritsu told Mio to imagine the audience as pineapples so that she can relax while reading. It is supposed to be potatoes but since it would be hard to look like potatoes, Ritsu opted for the pineapples. Sawa-chan will also not be behind about sharing some her past. We all know she is a rock star before becoming a teacher. She decided becoming a teacher because of the person she likes (again!). The guy she likes dreams of becoming a teacher, and so does Sawa-chan! But in the end, she was rejected. But Ritsu told her that if she hadn't met that guy, then she will not end up as a teacher. The present time matters more. Well, since this is all about careers, Yui is wondering what career she would have. She randomly thinks of things that would fit her but it seems, she cannot find one that match. FloristIt is impossible because Yui needs to know a lot about plants and flowers. Corporate WorkerAlso impossible since she will end up always being late Tour GuideReally a bad idea since Yui gets carsick easily WaitressAlso not an option since she needs to deal with a lot of orders PatissiereNo, no because Yui will just eat all desserts after cooking. Of all the career plans presented, the sweetest for me is Ui. She plans on being with her sister. So whatever career Yui chooses, Ui will be there with her to present her. The episode ended with Yui still undecided on what to do. But what Yui last placed on her career plan paper is to "try her best", so I am sure that sooner, she will find what she wants to do.
