Minato is kidnapped by Benitsubasa and Haihane. Wakey wakey. This depiction of Yukari is surprisingly accurate. Brief Summary: Minato wakes up in the morning and finds Kazehana in his room. Kazehana asks if Minato wants her, and Minato is not sure how to respond. Later in the day, Minato calls his sister Yukari and the two agree to meet for dinner and the two are still oblivious that each other are Ashikabis. When Minato goes out near dinner time, Tsukiumi insists on escorting him in order to protect Minato from danger and also meet Yukari. While walking to the meeting place, Minato and Tsukiumi are attacked by Haihane who draws Tsukiumi away, allowing Benitsubasa to kidnap Minato. Benitsubasa doesn't understand that a real fan has to watch the finale during the original broadcast. Tsukiumi didn't do a very good job as Minato's bodyguard, but at least she got some fun out of beating up Haihane. Sekirei are obviously not human, or else Kazehana would have to go to the hospital after drinking pure ethanol. Benitsubasa takes Minato to a wine storage warehouse and calls Izumo demanding that Musubi show up to fight her. Benitsubasa is still fuming over her loss to Musubi/Yume and wants to defeat Musubi in front of Minato. Musubi is out shopping at the time, so eventually Benitsubasa's phone call is taken by Kusano, Kazehana, and Matsu. While Matsu tries to locate Minato via MBI's surveillance network, Kazehana somehow guesses that Minato is in the wine warehouse and arrives to rescue Minato. However, Haihane appears as well and Kazehana is now faced with a 2 on 1 battle with Minato in Haihane's clutches. Out in the city, Tsukiumi is still busy looking for Haihane and Minato while Musubi is returning from her shopping trip.  Don't be rude if you don't want people to hang up on you. Kazehana: I don't know the guy. I'm just here for the wine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here is the real start to second season of Sekirei as last episode was mostly recap and foreshadowing. This episode was all anime-original material, and it's probably to set up a scenario for Kazehana to get winged. In the manga, Minato wings Kazehana right after the big battle at the bridge (the finale of season 1). Since that didn't happen in the anime, the studio has to create some new material to fill in the gaps. They'll probably get back to the manga story line after this kidnapping episode is done. Overall, this episode was alright. I thought the scene where Tsukiumi felt left-out and chatted with Kazehana was a little slow, but the rest was okay. I liked the part where people at Izumo Inn kept hanging up on Benitsubasa just to piss her off further and Haihane's obsession with the finale of her favorite TV show. The fight between Tsukiumi wasn't bad either, although I'm surprised by the amount of punishment Haihane managed to take from Tsukiumi and still show no ill effects. The episode ends with Kazehana and Minato stuck in a bind against the two Disciplinary Squad Sekireis. If it's just Kazehana then she should be able escape easily, but with useless Minato around things are a little tougher. I'm interested to see how Kazehana will be winged.
