It's been a while since Tomo last had a dream of the blue-haired angel, but they're back - warning him to "beware of the angel". A little vague, given he's already got two Angelroids living with him, but something to take notice of nonetheless. Nymph recalls that the inhabitants of Synapse used to play the Dive Game, that allowed them to dive into the dreams of humans and see them - not the safest of past-times, but perhaps something that would allow them to see and interpret Tomo's dreams. Sugata, Sohara and Mikako are up for the challenge, though, and so it's into Tomo's dream we go - a move they soon come to regret. To add to that, a third Angelroid is about to fall from the skies, and she seems to have Very Bad Things™ in mind for Tomoki... If you've seen the first season of this - and for some reason it wasn't available to UK users of Crunchyroll - then you'll know the territory: the gang are all back, Tomoki's just as perverted as ever, and the dynamics between the existing cast hasn't changed any. What this episode does is set the scene for the new season, and it's not until the final scenes of the episode that Trouble finally appears, in the form of the new Angelroid (I believe designated Delta, but don't quote me on that). No doubt it'll fall to Tomo and his friends to make her see the error of her violent ways and drag her into his harem. The good: the humour, and finally getting positive confirmation that Sohara's mind is probably even more perverted than Tomoki's. The bad: it doesn't really do anything new or different, and the "new" opening sequence falls so far not the category of "Aaaaargh!! Cannot unsee!!" that it's not funny. Still, his its charms, and it's one I have tagged to watch the full season of. A decent start.
