<lj-embed id="21"/>(To view a larger version, please do directly go to Youtube.)Here's my latest AMV "Never Apart". It was entered into the Animangaki AMV Contest. I could only release it after Animangaki ended even though I had finished this AMV way back in October. The AMV features the anime Nodame Cantabile and Michael Wong's "Bu Hui Fen Li". The focus of this AMV is on Chiaki and Nodame, the two main characters' relationship. The scenes used are from the first season and the third season of the series. Originally I had planned to use only scenes from the third season (Finale) but there, Nodame and Chiaki's relationship has already entered, I would say, an 'advanced" level and hence it was rather hard to look for suitable scenes involving them. On the other hand, the first season had lots of suitable scenes where their relationship has just started to bloom, and the last few episodes of the first season were the best parts (just like the thigh meat of a chicken, haha) where there were lots of romantic scenes and/or conflicts between the two. I especially liked the scene where Chiaki went all the way to Nodame's hometown to look for her. Unfortunately there were lots and lots of nice scenes with subtitles which I had to exclude. Nevertheless I managed to extract them and piled them up into an AMV which I would be proud of. The AMV is rather lengthy - it ended up being over 6 minutes. In order for the AMV to be able to be submitted to Animangaki's AMV contest without being rejected, I had to trim it to 5 minutes (which I somehow managed to do so!). I'd blame the original song for the length - the chorus of the song was repeated over 6 times. Songs composed and sung by Michael Wong (Guang Liang) are rather simple and repetitive, and that's the unique thing about his songs - and people seem to like it! I have no idea why. Maybe it just gets stuck in your head like that. However, I have to say that in this case I didn't like the repetition.Anyway, this is my first AMV after a hiatus of about three years in AMV making. All in all this is my eighth AMV whih I have released. Do enjoy and please do leave comments! Last but not least, Happy Halloween, Happy All Saints Day, Happy All Souls Day, and Happy Deepavali to those who celebrate them. :Dx-posted from kristalyamaki
