Deadman Wonderland 18 - Ganta is training with Senji to get his "Ganta Gun" to supersonic speeds. In order to give Ganta more motivation, Senji takes away all of Ganta's candy and ties one piece to a rope. Senji tells Ganta that if he can cut the rope with his "Ganta Gun" then he gets the candy back, but of course Senji will be standing in the way trying to stop Ganta's shots with his blades.Elsewhere in Deadman Wonderland, Shiro is having a snack party with "Mockingbird" Toto Sakigami. Shiro complains that her cheeks hurt after being hit by Ganta, even though she can't really feel any physical pain. Toto tries to convince Shiro to forget about Ganta, but Shiro instead decides that she'll hit Ganta back and storms off. Toto realizes that Shiro is drunk because he had accidentally given her wine-filled chocolate, and the mysterious Deadman is a little disappointed that his meeting with Shiro turned out to be just a snack party. Toto then decides that he'll go eat some "snacks" himself, and by snacks Toto is referring to "Branches of Sin".At Scar Chain headquarters, Karako tells everyone that they are going to abandon Nagi and instead on passing the data they collected to the outside. Ganta disagrees with abandoning Nagi but Karako dismisses Ganta's complaint as a kid's way of thinking. Karako's plan is for everyone to have a copy of the data and take different paths so there's a better chance that somebody will get the data to the inspectors. Karako has gotten Rokuro to reveal the safest routes, so the plan is set. After the meeting, Rokuro tells Karako that the route he gave her has a 7:2 chance of success only if the Undertakers don't show up. Karako states that she'll go stop the Undertakers herself to ensure that the plan succeeds.After attending the Scar Chain meeting, Ganta runs into the Takami siblings in the hallway. Yoh warns Ganta that his "Branch of Sin" doesn't work against Genhaku, but Senji shows up and informs Yoh that he and Ganta already know. Senji then takes exception to Minatsuki's skimpy outfit, and Minatsuki responds by flashing her panties. After Senji goes down while spraying blood from his nose, Minatsuki and Yoh ask Ganta about his training with Senji. After Ganta explains that he is trying make his attacks supersonic, Yoh agrees that it makes sense since the sonic boom make the attack much more powerful. Ganta is feeling frustrated with his lack of control over his power, but Minatsuki suggests to Ganta to think of it as controlling water. Before Ganta can understand what Minatsuki means, Minatsuki squeezes her juice box and sprays Ganta in the face.Somewhere in the non-secret portion of the prison, Tamaki calls Genhaku while the inspection team is being entertained by a prisoners' concert. Tamaki tells Genhaku to hurry up and exterminate Scar Chain, and Genhaku obliges to the new warden. In Genhaku's room, a man dressed as an Undertaker has his skull crushed by the hand of another man. Tamaki hears the crunching sound on the phone and wonders what's going on, and Genhaku responds that it's nothing.It's almost time to carry out Karako's plan and the members of Scar Chain are getting ready. Meanwhile, Karako has infiltrated the enemy's base and is dressed as one of the Undertakers. Suddenly, a drunken Shiro appears out of one of the airducts. Karako tries to get Shiro to leave, but the commotion has drawn Genhaku's attention. Genhaku recognizes Shiro as the girl who broke his guitar, and he also sees through Karako's disguise.Ganta is still training with Senji and he is starting to tire. As Ganta is running out of blood, the bullets he fire actually become faster. After running out of blood, Ganta remembers the juice box that Minatsuki sprayed him with and realizes an important principle. At this moment, all of the TVs in the Deadmen's rooms turn on with Genhaku on the screen. Genhaku announces that he knows Scar Chain is trying to break out again, but this time he isn't going to come and find them. Instead, Genhaku turns the camera to the captured Karako and Shiro and threatens to have them tortured and raped. The leader of the Undertakers states that Scar Chain members are welcome to try and rescue their comrades, and the door to Undertaker headquarters are open.After Genhaku's announcement, Ganta bolts out of Senji's room and plans to try and rescue Karako and Shiro by himself. To Ganta's surprise, all of the Scar Chain members share the sentiment. Now working together, the Deadmen of Scar Chain make their way into the Undertakers' HQ where Genhaku and his subordinates are waiting.It's showdown time: Scar Chain vs. the Undertakers~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ganta and the rest of Scar Chain basically walked right into Genhaku's trap, but Ganta really doesn't have a choice since he needs to save Shiro. Ganta will probably perfect his supersonic shots during this big fight, although the odds are still stacked in the Undertakers' favour. Of course, Shiro is around so she might start acting up if Ganta is in danger, and we all know that Shiro, being the Red Man, can easily kill everyone in the prison if the conditions are right. On the other hand, Genhaku seems to have Nagi on his side now. Judging by the pages in this chapter, Nagi has been turned into an insane and powerful killer, and that's probably not going to bode well for the good guys.
