Pandora Hearts is pretty entertaining so far. It puts Yuki Kajiura's music score to very good use. I especially like the background music that's playing when Oz is judged. I can totally feel Oz's fear, dread and despair. The story is also intriguing and with more new characters coming up, I can't wait to know what's going to happen next.The only thing I want to complain about is its animation. The action scenes are very poorly animated and badly paced!Mini SummaryBefore the start of the coming of age ceremony, Oz is introduced to Sharon, the young heiress of the Reinsworth family. It's love at first sight for Oz and he's happy to learn that she's 2 years younger than himself. Sharon has a servant called Break and he has a weird looking doll on his shoulder.Oz's coming of age ceremony gets fully underway as the royals gather for his party. The ceremony falls apart, however, when the long-silent clock, that Oz swears his oath to, awakens. Immediately after, a group of hooded Shinigami surrounds Oz. Gil, who is under the control of Dorudam, uses a knife to stab Oz's left shoulder. Oz's blood is then used to open the path of Abyss. Before the path is opened, the scary girl from Oz's vision appears in the form of a giant humanoid rabbit. Without much trouble, she defeats the Shinigami. However, it seems like the girl only appears for fun.Gil, who is back to normal, asks one of the Shinigami what sins Oz has committed to be brought into Abyss. The Shinigami gives no answer and at that moment, Gil recognizes the Shinigami as someone familiar. Oz runs towards the Shinigami with a sword, in an attempt to save Gil. However, Gil stands in the way and gets cut instead.
