Remember Me | register
There's something very unsettling about Lau. And the Zhou Zhuangzi poem he recites at the beginning of the episode made me think that there's really something that he keeps hidden deep inside. And also, it made me think that he wants more than what he's showing. It's sad to see that even Lau's past has been tainted with ugly memories. But then again, he won't turn out as a drug dealer if he did have a fairytale childhood. In the meantime, our butler is being subjected to torture and his torturer seems to be enjoying it very much. Just you wait until he's free, I hope he rips that ugly grin from your face. >_< Ciel is not so unfortunate. He has been placed in a quite a luxurious cell and was busy writing letters. He got a little jump when Sebastian turned up with tea but it was actually Aberline. I guess our boy misses his butler too.Lau decides to take some action and went off to meet another aristocrat. He's done being Ciel's chess piece and wants to be a player in the game. I don't like this side of Lau, no siree. So Lau successfully sells off his territorial rights to the greedy aristocrat. On the way back, they passed Aberline at the dock who was reminiscing on his past. Ergh... Why is everyone having tragic childhoods in this anime. It's becoming something of a norm. =.="Angela makes her appearance! Very nauseatingly. The get up she's wearing looks like something out of Power Rangers. But oh no, the situation looks bad for Sebastian. She decides to have a little torture session of her own. Meanwhile, Ciel was leaving his cell to investigate the case further. On his way, he was caught up by Aberline who insists on helping. They managed to get to the root of the case and traced it back to the greedy aristocrat Lau met up with earlier. I wonder how long have Ciel been playing around with a gun? The aristocrat's guards caught up with them and halted them in their tracks but Ciel already has his plans in motion. He calls for Sebastian and waited confidently amidst all that gunfire.Lau senses that his plans are not unfolding as his wish and decides to make another run for it. Ciel orders cannonballs to be shot at the ship Lau was taking and Sebastian and Ciel gives chase. On a cannonball? LMAO It was so hilarious! Reaching the ship, they found that Ranmao, Lau's assistant, was already prepared to greet them. Sebastian asks Ciel to leave her to him and Ciel left to search for that traitor Lau. He finds Lau in a room with a scroll on the table in front of him. True enough, the 'thing' that the Queen wanted Ciel to retrieve was the scroll itself.A face off between Ciel's team and Lau's team ensues and it looks bad for Ciel! Right at the moment when Lau would have finished Ciel off, Aberline steps in to save the day. Sebastian manages to finish Lau off but Ciel was not happy with him at all and gave him another one of those tight slaps. It looks like Aberline was not going to make it. It's sad that that would be the last that we see of him. The gloomy anime needs a fresh of breath air like him. Focusing on our butler, Sebastian seems displeased with Ciel's disciplining him. Could it be that Angela's words are eating into him?
